+1 on the blue block. Good stuff.

WD40 is a water displacing lubricant. I wouldn't use it in a glow engine...

Oh Really? I didn't know WD-40 was water based. Where did you hear that?

Thanks Tink and Chris, updated.

I still would not recommend using it in a nitro motor.

After run oil is designed specifically to help clean out your nitro engine, keep it properly lubricated, and assist easier starting the next time you fire up.

Don't get me wrong I have WD in my pit bag, it is primarily uused for cleaning parts and making them shiny, but it will never see the inside of my motor.

WD is a general purpose lubricant, that is "ok" at best for lubricating a sliding screen door.

Not an argument here but you ought to go to their website and read all the uses...kind of interesting.

I quit using ARO, and all my OWB slippage issues went away.... And I'll never use it again...
Having said that.... I do tear down my engines and clean, if they haven't been ran within a couple of weeks...

I use odonells 20% and after a rather hectic outing both trucks got put away without cleaning or anything. Lots of broken parts and such. Anyhow I took the engines apart a month later figuring I had really screwed up and was pleasantly surprised to find them clean and no rust on the innards. I don't suggest doing this but that's my experience with OD 20%. FWIW

A buddy of mine that's been into nitro for close to 8 yrs told me not to worry about the ARO unless you plan on storing your cars for awhile! He said to just make sure you drain the tank of any fuel when you're done, and you'll be good to go!
I'm pretty new but I haven't had any issues of not using it!
