"Sellys Aqua KNEAD IT" may just be the stuff that makes my RC hobby experience a more joyful one. It contains epoxy and amine resins and come in stick form ready to use, all you do is cut off a small amount, knead it together in your fingers (with gloves) and it forms a very pliable putty that can be used for 1/2 hour before it starts to set becomming to hard to use and after 1 hour it set like stone, able to be drilled, machined, sawed, sanded, filed and painted. It can be used for hundreds of things but as for rc, I've used it to balance a set of truggy tires and it seems to be the best putty I've tried. I found it to be pliable long enough to find the correct amount to properly balance the wheel and then it hardens and goes like a rock, well stuck to the inner rim and moulded nicely for appearance. It's fairly weighty so you don't have to use huge amounts like some other putties I've tried and with it setting like stone, dirt and other contaminates can be easily wiped off when cleaning the wheels. I have also used it to repair stripped screw threads, all you do is knead a little into putty form, push a small amount into the stripped hole and wait 5 or so minutes, then put your screw in and leave it for about 5-10 minutes. Remove the screw slowly (make sure you clean any residue off the screw as soon as you remove it or you'll never get it back in) and then let the hole set for about 1 hour. You should now be able to continue using as normal or until you upgrade the part that WAS letting you down. This stuff is strong, I have made up a new raised wing mount using 2 body posts, 2 screws and my previously broken wing mount, all I have to do now is paint the "Knead it" black and she's all good, I'll be very suprised if this wing mount ever breaks, it'll probably just bend and strip the screws out. I've attached a few pics to show how pliable this stuff is. Im sure I'll find many more uses for the "Selleys Knead it", post your ideas here if you give it a try so others can catch on and save some money on buying parts when we can fix them!!
