Titanium mesh , carbon fiber overlay with aluminum reinforcement.... good against everything but cement and my driving for 1 year : )

Its a pretty sweet body and were about to start on version 2 : ) more aluminum and titanium : )

That's sweet. How did you make it did you just cover a stock body or make a plug and glass over that? I might have to try something like that next.

That’s the problem with this body is that it was made by placing a releasing agent over the stock body then layer of carbon fiber, layer of titanium mesh, aluminum reinforcement in some key areas, then another layer of carbon fiber…… but the problem was it couldn’t be sucked down as the original body just caved in after about -4 psi. so it was just heated without being sucked together.

That is why there is going to be a version 2. We will place some of this foam stuff to make a mold then do the layers of material then suck it down and put it in the oven ….. should make version 2 about 5x stronger then version one : )

It’s got the materials of a modern work of art ( airplane ) but the for sight was a little lacking about the body caving in : )

Yea I figured if you tryed to vac it the body would fold. When you fill the body with foam you might want to wrap it with something because the foam might make it puff out. I can't wate to see v.2
